I am Juliana, a passionate photographer who grew up in California and in Germany and now lives in Switzerland. Being the child of parents who are avid travelers and food-lovers, I inherited these traits. This blog is filled with the recipes I create and the places I travel to.

My recipes are inspired by my childhood in California and Bavaria (southern Germany), my life with my husband in Switzerland and the foods from my travels. I make a point of eating organic, seasonal, and regionally grown food whenever possible.

Together with Alexandra Medwedeff, my first cookbook "Jahreszeitenküche frisch vom Markt" was published in March 2011 and won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award 2012 for "Best First Book" in Austria. My second cookbook "Grüner Kochen!" was released in February 2013.
