I am Juliana, a cartographer and teacher, who grew up in California and in Germany and now lives in Switzerland. Being the child of parents who are avid travelers and food-lovers, I inherited these traits. This blog is filled with the recipes I create and the places I travel to.

My first cookbook was published in March 2011 and won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award 2012 for "Best First Book" in Austria. I am currently working on a second cookbook which will be published in Spring 2013.
