Cherries Part 2: Cherry and Plum Crumble
The rest of the cherries end up in a crumble.
So what did I end up doing with the rest of my cherries? I made crumble. I thought about pie and turnovers, but I was busy doing other things that I didn't want to go through the hassle of making dough. Since I always have a batch of crumble in the freezer, that was the easy way to go. Why the plums? I had some that needed to be eaten.

I cut everything up, tossed the fruit with a little sugar, a dusting of cinnamon and a pinch of ground cloves. Into the ramekins they went, and then I added the crumble topping.

And yes, it was very good.
