This past week has been hard. One of our cats disappeared and we were very worried. We had just about given up hope when a neighbor came by and said she saw our cat in the bushes. It was probably locked in somewhere and we are so happy that nothing worse had happened.

Yesterday our neighbors had an open house party and I offered to bring something. I've had my eye on Beatrice Peltre's, from La Tartine Gourmande, Hazelnut Chocolate Muffins for a long time and decided it was time to make them. They are very easy to make and good. Be sure to use dark chocolate for the ultimate chocolate taste!
