I grew up in the kitchen helping my mother bake and cook. Cooking comes naturally for me, and I don't see it as work but rather as fun. It's not a necessity, it's pure pleasure. I enjoy cooking for others. For inspiration, I turn to my garden and what is in season locally. I also have many cookbooks from which to pull ideas and make a point of tasting local food on my travels.
But I would have never thought about actually writing a cookbook and bringing my recipes to paper if it hadn't been for my friend, Alexandra Medwedeff. With her, I embarked on a journey which changed everything. Together we create and photograph recipes.
Our second book Grüner Kochen! (engl. Green Cooking!) was published in February 2013. In addition to highlighting the importance of regional and seasonal cooking, but introduces that fact that eating a good piece of organic meat only once a week is better for our environment and for our bodies. The cookbook is divided into 5 chapters: Appetizers, Vegetarian Mains, Friday Fish, Sunday Roast and Desserts, filled with delicious vegetarian dishes and includes several special meat and fish dishes. This book recently won a Gourmand Cook Book Award for 2014 in Germany!

In March 2011 our first cookbook "Jahreszeitenküche frisch vom Markt" (engl. Seasonal cuisine fresh from the market) was published. The idea for this book was to create delicious, seasonal dishes that are easy to make. To our great surprise it was awarded a Gourmand Cook Book Award for "best first book" in Austria. We are extremely proud!
